Joaquin Vicent serves as the CFO of Pristine, leveraging decades of experience in investment banking, entrepreneurship, and advisory roles. He began his career at leading global financial institutions, holding senior positions at UBS and Citigroup. ​

At UBS, Joaquin was responsible for a European securitization business managing over $10 billion ABS exposure, while at Citigroup, he led the firm’s European securitization trading business, driving significant growth and market innovation.​

Joaquin later co-founded MeDirect Bank, a pioneering institution under direct ECB supervision. He was responsible for MeDirect growth to a balance sheet exceeding €3.5 billion.​

In recent years, Joaquin has focused on advising and investing in innovative sectors, including fintech, crypto and digital asset platforms, clean technology, and carbon capture ventures.​

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.​
